On Friday, 21 November, one day before the G20 Summit begins, South African women will shut the country down—and we will be watching, standing with them across countries and time zones.

We invite our global community to join our solidarity gathering on Zoom:

• Program begins: 4:30 AM ET / 11:30 AM SAST

• We join Women for Change live at 5:00 AM ET / 12:00 PM SAST for the national lie-down and name-reading

• Our program continues until 2:00 PM ET (or as long as it takes!) with survivor testimonies, GBV frontline professionals, and voices from across South Africa.

We gather to honor women lost to femicide, stand with all survivors of gender-based violence (GBV), lift frontline and lived-experience voices, and unite in global solidarity with our South African sisters.
